Surgical Services
We offer a wide variety of surgical services at Northwest Surgical Dentistry.
Whether you need a single tooth removed, all of your teeth removed, extraction of your third molars, or bone removed in preparation for dentures, we've got you covered.
Simple/Surgical Extractions
Whether a tooth needs to be removed due to symptoms, decay, or infection, we offer both simple and surgical extractions to safely and comfortably address your needs. Our team prioritizes patient care and ensures a smooth recovery every step of the way. We take time to explain the procedure, answer your questions, and provide clear post-op instructions to support ideal healing.
Full Mouth Extractions for Dentures
For patients transitioning to full dentures, we offer full mouth extractions with a focus on long-term oral health and optimal denture fit. From the treatment to post-op care, our team ensures the process is as comfortable and efficient as possible, helping to lay the foundation for a functional and confident new smile.
Alveoloplasty and Tori Reduction
To improve denture fit or prepare for other dental prosthetics, we provide alveoloplasty (reshaping of the jawbone) and tori reduction (removal of excess bone growth). These procedures help create a more comfortable and stable foundation for your dentures or other prostheses, reducing irritation and improving fit and function.
Third Molar Removal
Wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, often emerge in late adolescence or early adulthood and can cause crowding, pain, or infection. We provide expert third molar removal, whether the teeth are erupted, partially erupted, or fully impacted. Our careful surgical approach helps minimize complications and promotes a healthy, smooth recovery.
Orthodontic Surgical Services
We offer select surgical services to support orthodontic treatment, including premolar extractions to create space for proper alignment and expose-and-bond procedures for impacted teeth. These treatments are closely coordinated with your orthodontist to ensure precise results and a smooth treatment timeline.
Sedation Options
We understand that dental surgery can be stressful, which is why we offer sedation options tailored to your needs. Adult patients may choose nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for a more relaxed experience during treatment, while pediatric patients who require deeper sedation are typically cared for under general anesthesia.
